05 / 06Founding committee
Four students from the University of Geneva and HEC Lausanne, between private banking, coffee trading, fund management and biofuels.

01
President
- MSc Commodity Trading, UNIGE
- Trading Assistant, Sucafina
- Former Vice-President, GUIC
- Vontobel and Bilan conference, 150 guests
Background
Jérémy chairs the Committee. He represents the association towards third parties, convenes the General Assembly and steers the club's strategy at the University of Geneva.
He holds a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Geneva (2022 to 2025) and started UNIGE's Master of Science in Commodity Trading in September 2026. In parallel he joined Sucafina in Geneva as a Trading Assistant, rotating across the Finance, Logistics, Trading and Risk departments to learn the physical side of the coffee trade from the ground up, in the spirit of the group's Farm to Roaster model.
Before GUCC he spent two years at the Geneva University Investment Club. First a member of the Commodity department, then Head of the Technology department, he led a team of ten on financial modelling and investment theses (a buy side thesis on Broadcom hit its 34% take profit within a month). He was Vice-President from December 2024 to August 2025 and now leads its Alumni Network.
In March 2025 he co-organised, with the GUIC, a conference in partnership with Vontobel and Bilan on how technology is democratising investment for young people. It welcomed 150 participants.

02
Vice-President
- Private Client Advisor, UBS Bel-Air
- President, GUIC
- A summer on the Pictet trading floor
- Built a race car on his own
Background
Aris is Vice-President of the Committee. He is completing his Bachelor in Economics and Management at the University of Geneva while working in banking.
Since September 2026 he has been a Private Client Advisor in the Growth segment at UBS Bel-Air, covering investment advice, account opening and pension planning. Before that he spent a year on the UBS Migration Expert team during the Credit Suisse integration, handling more than 1,000 client requests a month.
His interest in markets started on the trading floor at Pictet, where he spent a summer rotating across equities, fixed income, derivatives and FX and worked on options pricing with Black-Scholes. He follows the markets closely and runs his own portfolio across equities, ETFs and commodities.
At the Geneva University Investment Club he was elected Head of the new Cryptocurrency department in 2025 and President in 2026, leading a community of about 45 active members around a real portfolio. Outside finance he spent three years building a race car on his own, entirely from the ground up. His lesson: precision beats speed.
